The same was true for me. I was cruising along quite happily in my 30's juggling a busy career, family and social life. Life was sometimes a challenge but nothing seemed unsurmountable. And then in my early 40's it started to change; insomnia, anxiety, heart palpitations that I'd never had before and crazy heavy periods. I went to see my GP, had some blood tests and was told everything looked normal, I was too young to be in the menopause and to maybe try taking an anti-depressant. But I knew I wasn't depressed and so went off to do lots of reading and research to get to the bottom of what was going on.
That's when I started learning about my hormones, nutrition and the perimenopause. The live group classes will take place on ZOOM on a Monday at 6.30pm, starting Monday 20th February for four weeks. They will be recorded so you can watch it back if you miss a class. You can also submit a question to me in advance and I will answer it at the class.

Will this be hard work?No, but it will be some work. Each week there will be a check in point and there will be things you will want to do to eat more healthily, fall asleep more easily and create new healthy habits. I will send regular motivational tips by email and the group will be there for you to share ideas, ask questions and support each other on this journey.

I’m not sure if I’m in perimenopause. Can I join?The list of symptoms of perimenopause is long, and tests are not always reliable. Not all doctors recognise this important, natural life stage. Hormones start to change from the age of 35 (ish), and can continue until 50 (ish), so if you’re in this age- bracket, and feeling rubbish, this programme is for you. Anxiety, fatigue and brain fog are some of the more common first signs, along with weight gain, erratic periods, aches & pains, insomnia, irritability and headaches.

Does the recipe pack cater for special diets?All the meals and snacks are gluten free and most are dairy free. The meal plan features a lot of vegetarian/vegan recipes but it is not specifically a vegetarian plan.

What results can I expect to get?Results will be different for everyone because we are all different. They will also vary depending on where you are starting from and how closely you follow the programme. However by the end of the programme I would expect most people to notice: Fewer cravings Better sleep More energy Weight loss Fewer hot flushes Clearer skin Better motivation Better mood

Will I need to buy any supplements or remedies?Ensuring you have the right levels of the right nutrients is key to balancing your hormones, so Natasha will recommend you take her top 4 supplements to make sure you’ve got the baseline your body needs. It is your responsibility to tell Natasha when you join the programme which medications and other supplements you are taking. If the recommended supplements are not suitable for you, you will be notified before the programme starts. These supplements are optional, but recommended. The cost is approx £35 for a month’s supply. Natasha cannot recommend a personalised supplement plan for individuals in a group programme.

I’m eating healthily already. Will this work?There are many definitions of ‘healthy eating’, most of which are largely based on low-calorie, low-fat eating and deprive your body of the nutrients it needs to function optimally. Eating right for your life stage, for your hormones is completely different. This programme guides you to eat delicious, family friendly food that works WITH your hormones, not against them.

Will I get 121 personalised support with this programme?In the weekly live 60-minute classes you can ask questions and benefit from group coaching. You will also receive a 30-minute personal session with Natasha to help you get the most from the programme. Its perfect if you would like to work with a registered nutritionist but are not ready for the investment required to work 121.
